Hello alberto, If I understand you correctly you are saying that it would be a nice feature if GnuBG allowed you to select a "Turkish rule" which would allow placing a maximum of five checkers on a point. As others have already said, in the past GnuBG did have this feature but it was removed. It was not called the Turkish rule however; it was called the "Egyptian rule". Version 0.14.3 did have this feature and if you want to play GnuBG with this rule you should find a copy of 0.14.3 which should not be very hard. If you are using a Windows PC you can find a copy of this version at www.gnubg.org. The direct download link is: To select the rule open the options panel, Settings --> Options. At the bottom of the Game tab select the checkbox next to "Forbid more than five chequers on a point". Take care and good luck, Myshkin LeVine > alberto <address@hidden> wrote: > For example turkish people play with harder rules: > Like only to accumulate 5 chips in one point. > P.D.: I think it would be a rule "the turkish" to > consider in the game "gnubg" as an option to select from. |
