I am with you.
>From time to time I like to go on the 'trial path'. Messing around
with settings to see what consequences there are.

So now I have a gnubgautorc_mine. Ready to overwrite the auto-saved
gnubgautorc. so I can reset GNU backgammon to my default settings.
Kind of a hustle.

I understand the frustration of new gnubg users with the previous
'Save Settings'.
But it should be possible to have a choice. With or without auto-save.
A simple command would be sufficient.
