The rollout carries on for these candidates with the original parameters. If you want to re-rollout some moves with other settings, you must clear the rollout analysis for them first (for instance by doing a 0- or 2-ply evaluation of them).
In other wards, istead of of doing a new 2-ply rollout for the two top plays, simply change the rollout ply setting and continue.
Doing some number of trials at 0-ply then some more at 2-ply doesn't seem very sensible.
