I don't know.  I couldn't find it in the AIX documentation at
<http://www.rs6000.ibm.com/doc_link/en_US/a_doc_lib/aixgen/topnav/topnav.htm>.

That would be nice, particularly if the AIX stpncpy's signature
differs, because then it should even work with cross-builds (just
check for the proper signature).

That shouldn't be a problem; Bruno's proposed patch still lets you use
"stpncpy" in all code outside the stpncpy module itself.
