But the issue is when someone (Simon) wants original malloc behavior.
Right now, it seems there is no way to get original malloc *and* use
gnulib code that uses libc_malloc.  Thus the need to rename the current
gnulib malloc to something else that does not override original malloc.
Right?  Different behaviors -> different names.
