Yes, I explained this in my e-mail.  OTOH, rewriting all of the
modules I have needed so far took less time than discussing it...

I'll forward all modules I think would be useful in gnulib, of course.
I'm not sure how to handle some rewrites, like getline/getdelim, which
is also thread safe.  I wonder if the gpl/lgpl separation mentioned in
gnulib/README isn't a good idea after all, then you can use the same
file name twice.
