I don't understand that recommendation. Since <inttypes.h> is supposed
to #include <stdint.h>, why isn't the recommendation:
# if HAVE_INTTYPES_H
# include <inttypes.h>
# elif HAVE_STDINT_H
# include <stdint.h>
# endif
