Is this true? The GFDL certainly caught a lot of attention when it
came out. Also, if the "or any later version" clause isn't given,
it seems there could be a problem blindly upgrading.
At a quick glance, the situation doesn't look that different.
I agree, it is a license change, blindly upgradeing the license is
always wrong, it doesn't matter if `many developers' do not care. It
is partially our job to see that they do care.
