the reason it does not complain for me is that before calling all
those autoFOO things I create a local directory called
'$cl_cv_clisp_libdir' which point to the right place.

at any rate, why does automake write this $(top_srcdir)/src/build-aux
instead of what specify in my AC_CONFIG_AUX_DIR?
