IMHO, the address@hidden rule belongs in an optionally-enabled class
of tests.
Are you thinking about something like
make syntax-check RULESET=gnu-strict
Would be nice to get maint.mk to include a local syntax.mk (if it
exists) provided by the maintainers where customized rules could be
defined making use of _sc_search_regexp.
But then, how to define the sets of rules?
