I attach a patch-set which performs all my promised tidy-up of
regex.texi, with the exception of the removal of POSIX documentation,
which I will submit later.

Note that this set supercedes the previous two patches I supplied: to
be precise, the second patch has changed slightly, as I found a typo
in it.
