I've just been puzzling over why the colouring and sorting sometimes
appeared to be wrong, and discovered that this is because the output
of pmccabe is sorted on its first column, modified cyclomatic
complexity, but the figures actually reported by pmccabe2html are for
standard cyclomatic complexity.
It seems we need to make up our mind which to use. I'd vote for
modified, as the reasons given for modifying the count make sense to
me.
Either way, if we have a consensus, I'll happily make a patch to
pmccabe2html to make the figures in the report consistent with the
sorting and colouring.
