Ah, excellent.  I'll pull the new repositories to work on replacement
bootstrap.conf files based on my new bootstrap then.

Thanks.  There's no rush for a thorough review though - I won't have
time to create the last few bootstrap.conf files I was planning for
at least 2 weeks, and more like 4 weeks.  With that done, testing
will be easy: if new bootstrap plus new bootstrap.conf in each of
the existing bootstrap using projects produces the same result (a
correctly bootstrapped project) with better commented and more easily
maintained bootstrap script along with smaller, clearer self-contained
bootstrap.conf files in each case... acceptance into master should be
a no-brainer.

Also, that will allow at least M4 and Libtool to adopt the new
canonical bootstrap with minimal fuss, where the current bootstrap
script is not suitable for various reasons that Eric outlined on this
list already.
