Not.  Autoconf intentionally strips any trailing slash given by the
user.  Thanks for the catch (the idea of $(srcdir)/lib/*.[ch] is for
gnulib files that aren't kept in VCS but which also have translated
strings, for projects that are using a single translation rather than
one for the main project and the gnulib domain for the gnulib files; it
probably could use some modernization).
