Actually it's the same in libs too:

    # Split up sed streams in gl/Makefile.in
    # Split up sed streams in gltests/Makefile.in
    # Split up sed streams in lib/gl/Makefile.in
    # Split up sed streams in lib/gltests/Makefile.in
