Thanks for confirming.

Upon further investigation this issue is fixed already in FreeBSD
10.1; further details are in FreeBSD PR 195098[1] for anyone
interested.

Hopefully we can get a 10.1 VM image for the pretest site - I'm happy
to help if needed.
