Hi,
I got an ipod for Xmas, and like it a lot. Since i don't do M$ things at
home, I really needed gnuPod. Thanks for writing it.
I run into a small problem: When I rip some classical CDs with abcde, I
get awfully long file names. I can upload those to the ipod, but it
won't play those tracks.
I guess the vfat implementation in the ipod has a limit to the file name
length. Maybe gnupod should check on that, or possibly even rename the
file to something shorter.
My workaround has been to add a line to .abcde.conf, to force the file
naming to a more simple format:
OUTPUTFORMAT='${ARTISTFILE}_${ALBUMFILE}/${TRACKNUM}'
Best regards
