A day or two ago I replied to an email from Lisa M Opus Goldstein, in
which she had solicited proofreaders for the "Using GCC" Manual. I
told her I was interested and she suggested I join this list and send
you a brief note. This is that note.

I am delighted with the prospect of helping with the project, and
have downloaded and read the first section of the manual. I was a
programmer for many years but have left the field, so feel my best
contribution would be as a proofreader of English rather than
technical content.

Tell me, please, what sections I should work on, and how and where I
should submit my proposed changes.
