thats quite a nice patch and a great starting point. The problem with it
is that only the stroke handling is already there. What happens on clip
or other path operations? Also the dash handling looks like its in the
wrong place and I am not sure, if the way you use getHDC: fits well with
the rest of the code. BUt in the later case I am not sure, which side is
wrong, your new code or my old.

It would be great, if you could keep on improving your code. One next
step is surely to add all the configure magic to detect GDI+.
