Details:

sometimes it works,
other times it does nothing
sometimes it pretends like it is editing the column header name

sometimes same segfault after deleting a column then deleting the table view
that contained it

i haven't been able to get consistent results through any single process of
clicking/deleting but if you try it enough times
after selecting/deselecting the table column a few times 
it should eventually segfault
