Details:

I did not check, but the error seems like the one I had in base and which
Richard fixed:

In file included from NSDataLink.m:30:
g:/GNUstep/System/Library/Headers/Foundation/NSFileManager.h:237: error:
syntax error before "unichar"
g:/GNUstep/System/Library/Headers/Foundation/NSFileManager.h:239: fatal
error: method definition not in class context
compilation terminated.
make[2]: *** [obj/NSDataLink.o] Error 1

Maybe it lingers elsewhere too?
