Some people, namely Special Ops players, think this is a great thing and a long overdue change. You must play on a "ranked" server and they are few and far between. I imagine that within the next week or two there will be an XML service that will be separate from the main servers. First off, I was hoping that the full version would allow the user to cancel the annoying EA Games and DICE logos and not have to sit through them, but no can do.
I consider this the same as an exploit much like those stat whores we all know and love. Others think it will just lead to that many more people playing an already way over-played class.
Behind me, I hear the sound of a chopper, so I turned around to see the enemy Hind hovering near the flag attempting to take it. Lots of people hate the fact that you can capture flags in choppers.
The commander wouldn't give it to me!
I love jumping behind enemy lines and blowing up the enemy's radar, artillery, and UAV capabilities. It may sound like I dislike the game, but it's quite the opposite.
There's always a few heated battles going on at once as the control points are all set up like miniature battlezones rather than part of a larger map. Do not, under any circumstances, attempt to be on the front lines and play the commander role.
It still sucks, just not as bad as before. As he's coming in over the top, everyone's running towards him, and the enemy chopper has also arrived and has started bombarding the TV Station tower, so my teammate starts to take off again. No word on the exact release date yet. But, the one thing I don't do at all, is try to fire back while bunny hopping. That way, even if you have one gunner, he can switch guns and keep you covered.
As I said, it works best if you have some ground support with you to hold the base after you take it. Please take a minute to check it out and help out a fellow gamer.
I'd have to say it's the best urban combat map I've ever played, and I've played many.
