excuse me... i forgot the email i have forwarded was not in english...
a summarized translation follows...
a icecat user send me this notice:
---
gnu icecat has some nice privacy protection features (handling the
"zero-image" and "redirection" issues: http://gnuzilla.gnu.org/test/)
therefore, all browsers, including gnu icecat, have a privacy "bug",
see: http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec15.html#sec15.1.4
this might be really important for all people, expecially for those who
lives in places such China, Korea, Mexico, Palestine, etc. ...
the RFC 2616 *suggest* that:
- user agents advices people about this privacy "bug"
- people should be aksed to explicitly confirm every
time the 'ACCEPT-LANGUAGE' header is sent
it would be nice if gnu icecat took care about it, adding a new
privacy protection feature...
