For some reason icecat-12.0 will not configure or install on ubuntu natty as user.

I have to do it using sudo (ie root), when 'install' fails with

The upside is that I still have icecat-10.0 running reliably with minimal extensions.

Any suggestions, icecatters ?

Adam.

Hi Adam:

Haven't had this issue, but I don't use Natty. What would be good to know is whether this can be reproduced with the Firefox 12 source. If that's the case then it would be an upstream issue and we can write a bug in bugzilla about this. The source files for FF12 are located here: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/12.0/source/

Would you mind trying to compile it and tell us if you get the same issue?

Many thanks!

Loic
