Should the FreeSpeechMe add-on be part of the icecat package?
FreeSpeechMe is a Free Software plug-in for [IceCat] that allows
people to effortlessly view Dot-Bit websites. It works on
GNU/Linux and Windows. Dot-Bit (.bit) is a new top-level domain
that, unlike Dot-Com, Dot-Net, Dot-UK, etc., is NOT controlled by
any government or corporation. FreeSpeechMe works over the
distributed blockchain of the inexpensive cryptocurrency, Namecoin
(a derivative of BitCoin). Namecoin is not generally traded as
currency. It exists primarily for the purpose of decentralized
DNS.

From https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.bit
about .bit:
.bit is a top-level domain that was created
outside the most commonly used domain name
system of the Internet,
and is not sanctioned by ICANN.
The .bit domain is served via the Namecoin
infrastructure, which acts as an alternative, decentralized
domain name system.[1]
Use of the .bit domain requires a copy of the Namecoin
blockchain, a supporting public DNS server, or a web browser
plug-in.
In February 2014, a beta version of a Windows/Linux Firefox
plug-in called FreeSpeechMe was released that allows automated
resolution of .bit addresses, by downloading the Namecoin block
chain and running it in the background.[2]
OpenNIC's
DNS servers also support resolution of .bit domains.
