There's an error I run into when trying to build gperf (developer version) from the source. This one should have an easy fix. 

"@itemx must follow @item"
I run makeinfo (GNU texinfo) 5.1. Replacing the two offending @itemx occurrences, on line 1193 and 1210, in doc/gperf.texi with @item fixed the problem for me.
