The way it is currently setup, these files are pulled from installed
automake when I run ./autogen.sh, which happened to be automake-1.9. I did
some reading on these file and the importance of including the most recent
ones.

I am thinking of adding it to the Makefile so it is fetched from "the
source" before creating a package. Any objections?
