Great news: Tony has been a heroic sole maintainer, but grep needs
this kind of attention. It's great to hear that it's finally getting
it. In particular, it's good to see that the first thing being done is
the sort of GNU standards work, and in particular gnulib-ification,
that will make grep easier to understand in future and less work to
maintain, while benefitting more from work in other GNU projects;
equally, it's a fillip to gnulib in particular every time another core
GNU project such as grep uses it. This sort of eating our own dog food
is both excellent marketing and good practical engineering.

Thanks and well done all of you.
