Details:

When building it fails with....

libgrep.a(dfa.o):dfa.o:(.text+0x1e10): undefined reference to `_iswctype'
libgrep.a(dfa.o):dfa.o:(.text+0x1f6c): undefined reference to `_wcscoll'
libgrep.a(dfa.o):dfa.o:(.text+0x1f80): undefined reference to `_wcscoll'

The OS in question doesn't have wide-char support.
