Groff Bug Report
GROFF VERSION: 1.18.1
MACHINE: IBM-compatible Pentium IV
OS: Linux 2.6.21.5 (Debian Etch or Sid)
COMPILER: none (using Debian package)
INPUT FILES: foo.tr (attached)
COMMAND LINE: groff -mm foo.tr # using groff version of mm
DESCRIPTION OF INCORRECT BEHAVIOUR:
The footnote reference occurs with exactly enough space
remaining on the page for the footnote. The end-of-page
trap is apparently clobbered; text continues over the page
boundary and the footnote appears on the next page. As
expected, if the footnote-reference line is moved one unit
higher or lower, it works properly with the footnote
appearing on the same or next page, respectively.
SUGGESTED FIX [optional]:
foo.tr
Description: Troff document
