                           Groff Bug Report

GROFF VERSION: 1.22.2
'current-groff' from 12th October 2013

MACHINE: laptop i586

OS: Linux 3.2.46-1-rt67-1 (Debian)

COMPILER: gcc (Debian 4.7.2-5) 4.7.2

INPUT FILES:

.de End
.\" Macro only for troff
if n .return
Inside End macro
..
Text before troff .ig block
.if t .ig End
Ignore troff block
.if t .End
Text after troff .ig block

COMMAND LINE:

  groff -a <inputfile>

DESCRIPTION OF INCORRECT BEHAVIOUR [OR DEFECTS IN (INPUT) SOURCE]:

prof.gro.1:8: error: end of file while ignoring input lines
<beginning of page>
Text before troff .ig block

SUGGESTED FIX [optional]:

The documentation of the '.ig end' request in the groff(7) manpage
needs to be more informative.

As the data after this request is read in copy mode the '.if t ...'
is never executed and the end macro is thus never called.
