Follow-up Comment #1, bug #52443 (project groff):
See bug #51003
In my private local git repository (named bjarni):
1) I created a directory "tmac/mdoc" (NOT A SYMLINK)
2) In that directory I created four links
total 8
lrwxrwxrwx 1 1000 13 May 12 2017 doc-common -> ../doc-common
lrwxrwxrwx 1 1000 14 May 12 2017 doc-ditroff -> ../doc-ditroff
lrwxrwxrwx 1 1000 12 May 12 2017 doc-nroff -> ../doc-nroff
lrwxrwxrwx 1 1000 11 May 12 2017 doc-syms -> ../doc-syms
Is the following true?
3) the now existing "tmac/mdoc" directory does not get copied during the
installation process
4) the now existing "tmac/mdoc" directory does not get into the tar file
If both true, then no links do exist in the installed directories(?)
Could "bootstrap" create the directory and the links?
