Package: grub
Version: 0.5.95
Severity: normal
I have a system that has to run windows on the second hard drive. To get
this going I used to map the drive using lilo's map-drive command. When I
tried switching to grub I expected the same results by using grubs map
feature. It then correctly starts but the system never comes up. At some
point the windows system print some error messages. Reinstalling lilo fixed
the problem and the system now boots again correctly.
