Bug#93537: should probably Build-Conflict on automake == 2.13 |

Package: grub
Version: N/A; reported 2001-04-10
Severity: wishlist
I tried to backport the sid grub to potato today and found out that
build fails due to a lot of macros in netboot/Makefile not being
expanded.
After verifying that building in a sid chroot works fine, I found out
that I had autoconf installed on the potato machine, which proceeded
to overwrite ./configure and generate a new ./configure that doesn't
build correct Makefiles. potato has autoconf 2.13, sid 2.14a.
It should probably be documented that having autoconf 2.13 installed
is a bad thing. Is there something like Build-Conflicts:?
Greetings
Marc
