Swapping with grub prevents accessing FAT32 dos drive |

Hi,
Here is the list of my hdd and partition configs.
HD0 Total 20 gigs: has 2 partitions both Fat32
8 gb FAT32 is drive c:
and 12 gigs FAT32 Extended LBA is drive e:
HD1 Total 20 gigs: has 1 Fat32 partition is drive d:
I installed Mandrake 8.1 as partitionless to HD0: 8gig partition.
Grub is in charge of boot loading now.
I got my windows 98 in the second drive HD1
The problem is , when I boot and swap the harddrives with
map (hd0) (hd1)
map (hd1) (hd0)
I can see and access both drive c: that is hd0,0 and drive d: that is
hd1,0.
However, even I see the drive letter "e" from dos programmes, I can
not access to drive e: that is hd0,1
It is a 12gb FAT32 partition, dos Fdisk sees the drive logically as
e: but reports the logical drive filesystem as unknown.
THIS PROBLEM ONLY happens when drives are swapped with map method.
When I boot win98 via GRUB without swapping drives, I can access to my
drive e:
I tried to unhide options and lots of stuff, but as a newbie could not
do anything.
One more thing when I get the geometry, the GRUB shows the partition
num 4.
However, when I try to unhide hd0,4 , it says there is no such
partition...
Please help, what commands should I use to access my Fat32 partition?
Thanks...
