Greetings List,
I am (foolishly) trying to install OpenBSD on an extended partition, well
I have it installed, I'm trying to boot it. The obsd pdr code (biosboot)
functions similarly to lilo, where a program (installboot) writes the
c/h/s if the next stage into it. (if you move or change /boot, you must
run installboot). It does not use sectors, but c/h/s.
Using grub, I can read the obsd filesystem and read both /boot and /bsd. But
both fail.
Someone mentioned some pathches to grub for obsd. Could you send them to
me, or give me a pointer to their location?
Till then, I'm poking around in grub and obsd bootup code, trying to find some
way to blend the two.
Thanks!
-Dale
