Submitted by: okuji Project: grub
Submitted on: 2002-May-28 21:39
Category: Disk & Partition Severity: Ordinary
Priority: Low Bug Group: Feature Request
Resolution: Later Assigned to: okuji
Status: Accepted Release: 0.92
Reproducibility: Every Time Planned Release: 0.93
Summary: should work with uncommon formats of floppies
Original Submission: GRUB doesn't work with an uncommon format of a floppy,
such as 1.68MB.
That's because GRUB relies on BIOS information too much. Support for
embedding a fixed geometry in a drive has already been implemented by
Thierry Laronde, but it's not integrated into the official version yet.
