Summary:  grub destroys xfs primary superblock on setup (hd0,X)

Original Submission:  Grub 0.92 destroys the primary superblock when installed 
at an xfs partition using kernel 2.4.19 with actual 2.4.19 xfs patch

grub installed by
root (hd0,X)
setup (hd0,X)

no error messages but partition is not mountable anymore but can be repaiered 
by xfs_repair

I don't think using the setup command on a partition is very wise.. better use 
the install command to only install the stage1 into the partition boot sector, 
or install grub in the MBR ("setup (hd0)" without a partition number)

Btw, I am not sure if XFS has a boot area in the first block of the partition. 
If not you will have to install grub in the MBR  (hd0).
