A friend of mine has GRUB v 0.92 installed on her computer, and has
told me of a booting problem she is having.
I don't know anything about GRUB, though I do know quite a bit about
computers. She tells me the error message is this:
GRUB version 0.92 ( 639k lower/261056k upper memory)
[Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB
lists possib;e command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists the
possib;e completions of a device/filename]
The computer won't boot any further.
It seems to have happened suddenly, she tells me that it was working
fing one day, but gave this message the next. This sounds a bit
strange to me, but perhaps it means something to you.
This is all I know for now. Does this problem sound familiar?
Thanks for any help you can provide. A rapid response would be much
appreciated.
