Yes. FreeBSD 5.x should use UFS2 as your filesystem, and GRUB simply
does not support that filesystem (yet). For now, you can boot it via
chainloader like Windows.
Well, what's happening on UFS2 support? I thought some people were
working on adding the support into GRUB, but I haven't heard anything
for a while...
