This output is for the 'not working well' partitioning
of hdc1=500M, hdc2=1000M, hdc3=rest (524M).

Reinstalling with manual mke2fs options or adjusted
partition sizes is not a problem, whatever tests we need
to do to figure it out are no problem.  Thanks.
