User-agent: Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0.7 (Windows/20050923)

Download the file;
sgd_0.9354_mothers_day_preview.img.bz2

$ tar jxf /path/to/sgd_0.9354_mothers_day_preview.img.bz2
tar: This does not look like a tar archive
tar: Skipping to next header
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

Failed to decompress it.

You do have a lot of problems! ;)

The preview image is a preview and that means that does not go inside a zip file which has:
        1)An exe program for "burning" a floppy with an image.
        2)The image
        3)A txt file with instructions to linux and windows users.

So... this image is not so evident to deal with because there's only 2) the image in it.

Here go instructions.

1) bunzip2 sgd_0.9354_mothers_day_preview.img.bz2
2) Put a non-valuable floppy on your floppy drive.
3) dd if=./sgd_0.9354_mothers_day_preview.img.bz2 of=/dev/fd0

Enjoy.

P.S.: You do have to learn that a file that finish with bz2 is not neccesarily a tar.bz2 file!
