Hello!
Actually yes it does affect GRUB2 because technically it is part of that
boot loader. This is for the Legacy versions of GRUB. On behalf of everyone
I thank you for your efforts.

You might of course contact one of two lists found on the website for GRUB2
and explain things there, including everything you've done, and if possible
how you feel it can be corrected.
