Follow-up Comment #1, bug #29793 (project grub):
Due to the arbitrary file size limit, I haven't been able to attach the theme
in progress. Instead, it can be downloaded from
http://retro.apebox.org/ubuntutheme.tar.bz2
Other than bug 29792, my main desire is the ability to apply padding to the
icon without it affecting the padding of the highlight - try setting padding
to 0, and see how bunched together everything looks? I want to increase the
padding of the icon so it can "breate" by about 8 pixels, but if I change the
padding value, 1) padding applies to the top and bottom (but not right) of the
list of items in the center of the styled box, but I don't want vertical
padding, and 2) padding applies to the highlight, so whilst I want the grey
highlight rectangle to extend to take up the full horizontal space available
(as in 0 padding screenshot), i lose this if i add padding to space out the
actual menu entries (as in 10 padding screenshot)
