Oh yes, I am aware of that. However, though GRUB is claimed legacy, it is used
in active RHEL (and thus CentOS) releases (that is, in 5.x and 6
beta), and perhaps
in some other distros. And as I am on CentOS, this is why I am still
interested in having
this, possibly also for others' benefit, in legacy GRUB.

If you mean grub-devel, I know of this list. But I understand the list
is aimed to drive
GRUB2 development, and I explained above I would like to have this
fixed in legacy GRUB,
if at all possible.

It was me who filed the CentOS bug, and I was encouraged to push it upstream.
