Hello all,

http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/help-gsl/2006-10/msg00001.htmlpoints out that "sudo make install" needs to be used to install GSL(at least GSL 1.8) on an intel mac. I can confirm that this is thecase on a MacBook Pro (Mac OS 10.4.8). Could this be mentioned inINSTALL? It would have saved me digging around the mailing listarchives to see if it was a known issue...
