Hi Peter

I figured out and was able to uninstall the GSL2.1. However, I still have the 
problem of missing “fp_regs.h” in ‘architecture/ppc/“ directory. I downloaded 
“fp_regs.h” file from a website. What do you recommend to do?

When you run 'make distclean' you remove all files not included in the tarball 
are deleted. Specifically the 'Makefile' is deleted, which means 'make' has no 
Makefile to read and no way to understand what 'uninstall' means. If you issue 
distclean, you need recreate the Makefile with `./configure' but there is no 
reason for you to issue distclean.
