Major file system reorg has happened.
Here is explanation from IMPORTANT MESSAGE file:
IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO CURRENT USERS OF GSRC
17 June 2016 CE
(If you are installing GSRC for the first time,
ignore this message.)
Otherwise, important changes have been made to the
file layout.
There are two ways to procede in a simple manner:
cd to gsrc directory
mkdir pkg
mv gnu gnustep gnome external alpha decommissioned pkg
mkdir pkg/other pkg/local
# Notice we are moveing the package directories to "pkg/"
now do your normal
bzr update
then:
./bootstrap
./configure --prefix=WHATEVERITUSEDTOBE
. ./setup.sh
Alternatively, you can do a fresh GSRC download from the net:
bzr checkout bzr://
bzr.savannah.gnu.org/gsrc/trunk/ gsrc
(use "bzr checkout --lightweight" to download the latest revision only)
cd gsrc
./bootstrap # to create the configure script
./configure --prefix=$HOME/gnu # directory to install the packages
# or whereever you want to set it up...
. ./setup.sh
Enjoy.
