WinZip is unlikely to handle any sort of ecryption (except the 
aforementioned insecure pkzip encryption) on its own.

Maybe you could look at using gpg for encryption?

Such legal disclaimers are unenforceable/meaningless on public lists and 
are even against policy on some lists. Also, some people will refuse to 
reply on principle. (They also waste bandwidth.) Please either remove 
this text or get a better e-mail account.
