Hi,

I am trying to set up a tunnel between two private lans. At the moment, I'm
using HttpTunnel 3.0.5, but i also tried HttpTunnel 3.3.

I have a problem with the initial connection startup. htc can connect to the hts
port, but can't initiate a full connection. hts hangs on the poll(&p,1,...)
request in tunnel.c. It times out and hts returns "poll timed out". At that
time, in_fd is -1 and out_fd = 4.

The strange thing is, I have been able to get a sporadic connection. I am hts -F
localhost:22 to get to my SSH daemon. And for a few times (maybe 2 out of 100)
I got the SSH version response. Nothing more. But at least some sort of
connection was established then. Unfortunately, this was before I compiled hts
with --debug support, and I haven't been able to reproduce the 'lucky'
situation since then.

Any ideas? I am using a Microsoft ISA (v1.1) server to proxy my tunnel.

Eric
